Prologo Pizza Girls / Between Days Crisis existential
EN ESTA SEGUNDA ENTREGA DE PIZZA GIRLS / BETWEEN DAYS “CRISIS EXISTENCIAL” NOS ENCONTRAMOS AL BORDE DE LA EXTINCIÓN DE LA VIDA TAL Y COMO LA CONOCEMOS. ¿QUÉ HABRÁ SIDO LA PERLA NEGRA?. ¿HABRÁN SALTADO A TIEMPO?. ¿HABRÁ SOBREVIVIDO SONIA LA NEGRA (KABUKI)?. NO PARECE HABER ESPERANZA PARA IL MONDO IMAGINARIO DE MARIO ROMEU . PERO, ¿QUÉ HABRÁ SIDO DE ARANCIA PISANI?
HABLAR DE ARANCIA PISANI ES HABLAR DEL ÁCIDO GRUPO DE LAS PIZZA GIRLS. ESE GRUPO DE PERSONAJES QUE VIVEN SUS AVENTURAS A RITMO DE ROCK. LEER BETWEEN DAYS / CRISIS EXISTENCIAL SIGNIFICA DEJARSE LLEVAR POR TODAS SUS SINFONÍAS VISUALES Y ESCUCHAR EL VUELO DE LA PERLA NEGRA SURCANDO EL UNIVERSO. MIRAR POR LA VENTANA Y DESCUBRIR UN MUNDO INSOSPECHADO Y PARALELO POR EL QUE PASEAMOS TODOS LOS DÍAS A MERCED DEL PELIGRO. CORRER POR SUS VIÑETAS ESCUCHANDO “A NIGHT LIKE THIS”.

Amy’s just an innocent girl trying to get by the best she can in a world that hates her. It’s not her fault that things fall apart around her, or that stuff blows up, or people get killed. It’s not her fault that everyone pisses her off, until she’s just so mad she has to jump on him or her and kick and bite and choke…and…and…okay, maybe it’s a little bit her fault. But Amy really does try to be good, it just that there’s always somebody waiting to knock her down as soon as she starts to get ahead. Especially her number one enemy, Doug, who Amy really, really hates (even though she secretly really, really loves him!). But it doesn’t matter how many times Amy gets kicked into the gutter, she always drags herself out and keeps on trying.

Hidden Cove is a beautiful beachfront community that attracts tourists and vacationers from all corners of the world. With its white-sand beaches, plentiful palm trees, and celebrated coral reefs, Hidden Cove could easily be described as a tropical paradise. So, when Sally “Chipmunk” Stevens takes her best friend Tanya up on an offer to crash at her summer cottage, she expects relaxation in the day, parties at night, and months of fun in the sun.
Arriving just in time for the annual Forth of July bash, Chipmunk befriends Melissa Mathers, another out-of-towner working for the summer, and super-hunk surfer extraordinaire, Ted Stenson.
Chipmunk’s enthusiasm quickly fades when she meets the dictatorial Sheri Crayons, a local beauty queen with an axe to grind, and discovers that Tanya has been missing all day.
Joined by Melissa, Chipmunk goes on the hunt for Tanya, only to discover more strange occurrences, and a host of new questions. It isn’t until the big volleyball game when Chipmunk learns the horrible truth of Tanya’s disappearance, as the beach goers are attacked by a man-eating, humanoid Shark-monster! Fighting for their lives, Chipmunk and Sheri form an uneasy alliance, working together to save innocent lives from Tanya’s horrible fate.
Unbeknownst to Chipmunk, the appearance of this sea-beast is not an anomaly. Rather, it's the work of an ancient pagan cult that secretly controls the beach!
With no one to trust and a ferocious monster waiting in the shadows, Chipmunk will have to use everything she has to stay alive and make it through her summer getaway in one piece!
Beach Blanket Massacre combines elements from Annette Funicello’s Beach Party movies with The Wicker Man, Race with the Devil, and, of course, Jaws. Reading like a hard R-rated version of Archie, Beach Blanket Massacre is surreal, sexy, violent, and very, very funny.

BILLY BOY The Sick Little Fat Kid, is a journey into the insane mind of a young overweight kid and his adventures in his sick and twisted world. Done in a style of classic cartoons such as Fleischer and old Warner Brothers, BILLY BOY The Sick Little Fat Kid is done in a very cinematic and cartoony style. This issue features “Slingshot Madness” where Billy gets into some trouble when he and Teddy shoot up Old Mrs. Pine’s house with their brand new wrist rocket. In “Swamp Jitters” Billy is on the runn from a giant spindly insect. And finally in “Bad Charm Bill” our pudgy star gets caught up in the black arts...and it doesn’t end with a smile!
