AMUSEDOM is a worldwide, user-driven, language-independent, publishing network, created by artists to serve artists. A world community self–publishing network, with integrated technology formatted to meet the highest professional and technological standards and a revenue oriented business model to enable the artist to carve a career path and a future of their own.

It’s all really up to you! You need neither publisher nor permission of any kind. YOU own the rights to your own creations. In fact, you ARE the publisher. The users are your audience, and the audience is the only judge and critic. Just create, network with friends and build an audience. Amusedom provides the venue, the social network, the technology and the path to your own revenue stream. There are no technological limits to your own fame and fortune…no excuses either, you are only limited by your own talent. Amusedom is YOUR network…

AMUSEDOM IS YOU!!

Cross-Hatching
Group Information
Category:
Name:
Cross-Hatching
Description:
For those of you who enjoy the magic of cross-hatching as much as i do, here's a group for you. I'm not sure where the attraction lies but for reasons I do not quite understand I can help it but to love even the loose lines that do not seem to belong anywhere. Of course there's no accident to all of this (except perhaps for Franklin Booth happy accident of mistaking engravings for hand illustrations) and the like is pretty universal. Please share your own cross-hatching drawings with the group and/or point to us the artist or works you like the most. (puntillismo, lineas cruzadas no se como se llama en español).

Hello, my name is Nacho Tenorio and yes, i´m a crosshatcher. Well, a digital crosshatcher. A little note: In Spain, crosshatching is aslo called 'tramas' or 'tramado'.

tramado? that sounds like the letraset screen tones... but you may be right, it is similar and the name me suena familiar.

You're right. Screen tones in Spain are called 'tramas'; we used 'tramado' only for the technique and 'tramas' for the visual effect created by crosshatching.
